How records are counted
Every SGONG Focus session is counted on the date it started.
Even if a Focus session ends after midnight, its full duration is saved on the date it started.
1. How is Focus time measured?
It is recorded from when you start Focus until you end it.
Focus continues when the screen is off or the app is in the background.
2. What happens when a session crosses midnight?
A Focus session is saved on the date it started.
For example, a session from 11:30 PM on July 28 to 1:00 AM on July 29 counts all 1 hour 30 minutes on July 28.
3. Why don't I see a Focus session in today's records after midnight?
Today's records show only Focus sessions started on the current date.
A Focus session started before midnight appears under its start date, regardless of when it ended.
4. Does Focus continue if I close the app?
Yes. Focus continues in the background and while the screen is off.
You must end Focus yourself.
5. What happens if the app closes or the phone turns off?
If an active Focus session was saved, recovery options appear when you reopen the app.
You can continue Focus or record it until you left the app or until now.
If the phone suddenly turns off, the app cannot know exactly when studying ended.
6. How is the Current Streak calculated?
It counts days when you start at least one Focus session.
Today is not over yet, so your Current Streak does not break immediately if you have not started Focus.
An active Focus session counts toward your Current Streak from the moment it starts.
7. Can I use SGONG without setting a goal?
Yes. Today's Goal is optional.
Focus records and daily, weekly, and monthly statistics are saved even without a goal.
8. Where are study records stored?
All study records and app settings are stored only on your device.
SGONG currently uses no account, external server storage, or cloud sync.
9. Are records deleted when I uninstall the app?
Yes. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage in Android settings also deletes study records stored on the device.
Clearing only the app cache generally does not delete study records.
